The learning can be carried out at the mine site in the mining environment with the application and implementation of the mine mite Safety and Health Management System. Online and workplace delivery includes online learning resources that can be accessed at home or work. The learning is self-paced. The online resources can be perused by the candidate at their own pace; they can choose the time of day to study and can revisit particular topics if they feel they need more learning time.
The workplace resources (plans and procedures) form an integral part of the mine's Safety and Health Management System and are required to be established, implemented, applied and monitored by law (mining legislation). The resources are accessed, read, applied and/or implemented in the actual work environment.
